Can I protect the contents of my USB drive from being deleted?

There are actually several different ways to prevent information from being deleted. The first method is to create a Read-Only Partition. In a Read-Only Partition, a section of the USB flash memory is reserved for specific files, and is told that this section is meant to be read-only.
The second method is to create a CD partition on the USB drive. This method works almost identically to the first method, except that a CD partition can Play when inserted into a computer. Both ways prevent a user from deleting or manipulating the files but do not stop a user from copying the information.
