SEMICON Korea 2025: February 19-21 in Seoul’s COEX

SEMI announced that SEMICON Korea 2025 will be held from February 19 to 21 at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul.

It is reported that approximately 500 companies will participate, including global chip companies such as Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, AMD, and Micron, as well as major semiconductor materials, components, and equipment companies like ASML, Applied Materials, and Lam Research. Over 70,000 people are expected to attend.

The theme of this year’s exhibition is “LEAD THE EDGE,” showcasing cutting-edge technologies that are leading innovation in the semiconductor industry, which is being reshaped by advanced technologies like AI.

On the opening day, Samsung Electronics DS Chief Technology Officer and Semiconductor Research Center President Song Jai-hyuk will give a speech titled “Semiconductor Innovation, Making Life Better.”

Luc van den Hove, Chairman and CEO of imec, Europe’s largest semiconductor research organization, and Bill Ng, Vice President of AMD, will also deliver speeches.

SEMI stated that the development of artificial intelligence is seen as a major growth engine for the semiconductor industry, but at the same time, the industry requires more technological demands and global collaboration.

As SEMICON Korea 2025 serves as a gathering place for the global semiconductor supply chain, it is hoped that all participants will discover new business collaborations and insights, enhancing business competitiveness.
