During CES 2024, hardware manufacturer Eurocom showcased the new Raptor X17 mobile workstation, equipped with an Intel Core i9-14900HX processor and an RTX 4090 mobile graphics card with 16GB of video memory.
The Intel Core i9-14900HX processor is equipped with 24 cores, including 8 high-performance cores and 16 efficiency cores, 32 threads, and a maximum turbo frequency of 5.8GHz; 36MB of smart cache, a base power consumption of 55W, configurable power consumption from 45W to 157W, and maximum support for 192GB of memory size, DDR5 5600MHz or DDR4 3200MHz frequency.
The mobile workstation is also equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU, featuring 16GB GDDR6 video memory.
The Raptor X17 includes three physical M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD slots, each capable of accommodating up to 8TB of Gen4 SSD, for a total storage capacity of up to 24TB of Gen4 SSD space.
The Raptor X17 also has two SO-DIMM slots, capable of accommodating 2 x 48GB memory modules, with a maximum capacity of 96GB DDR5-5600 memory.
Eurocom’s Raptor X17 mobile workstation comes with a default resolution of 17.3 inches 1440p (2560 x 1440), with a frequency of 240Hz, but if you want a more high-end gaming display, you can opt for a 4K 144Hz panel.
The Raptor X17 is equipped with an Intel Killer E3100X chip. In terms of ports, it includes 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB Type-C), 1 USB-C 3.2 Gen2, 3 USB-A 3.2 Gen2, 2 MiniDP 1.4 interfaces, 1 HDMI 2.0 output, 2.5GbE LAN, and 2 DC-in ports for ample power supply.
