The 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2025) will kick off in Las Vegas on January 7, with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang delivering the opening keynote on the evening of January 6 local time, setting the stage for the first wave of excitement at the event.
Industry insiders expect that Huang’s keynote will focus on NVIDIA’s next-generation “RTX 50” series graphics cards and reveal new business opportunities in AI and robotics applications.
Among the three major topics Huang is likely to address, robotics has recently become the hottest subject.
In particular, after successfully sparking the AI wave, NVIDIA has positioned itself as a leading platform for the robotics revolution, selling “full stack” solutions, ranging from software layers used for training AI-driven robots to embedded chips and more.
According to the Financial Times (FT), Deepu Talla, NVIDIA’s Vice President of Robotics Technology, stated, “The ChatGPT moment for physical AI and robotics technology is coming soon.” He mentioned that the market has reached a “critical inflection point.”
NVIDIA is preparing to launch its latest generation micro computing system, Jetson Thor, which supports humanoid robots, in the first half of 2025.
Benefiting from the massive demand for AI chips, NVIDIA’s market value has surged to over $3 trillion.
