When we use a computer for file operations, the copy function is the most commonly used. However, we often encounter situations where the copied content gets overwritten, and pressing ctrl+z at this time cannot undo it. This results in us being unable to retrieve the previously copied content. To solve this problem, we can enable the clipboard history feature in Windows to view previously copied content.
To enable the clipboard history feature in Windows, follow these steps:
① Open the Settings on Windows. Choose the “System” option in the settings.
② In the System settings, locate the “Clipboard” option. Check the “Clipboard history” option. Click “OK” to save the settings.
After completing the above steps, the clipboard history feature in Windows is now activated. We can now view the clipboard’s history by pressing Win+V shortcut keys. Within the clipboard history, we can see previously copied text, images, and other content.
Enabling the clipboard history feature in Windows helps us to review previously copied content, preventing unnecessary loss caused by overwritten copies. It is recommended to promptly activate and utilize this feature for better management and utilization of copied content. (This feature is disabled by default in the system.)
