The results are clear: the so-called “roughly equal” performance does not exist. The Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is significantly outperformed by the GeForce RTX 5070 and is essentially in a position of being “crushed.”

Based on the overall data, the GeForce RTX 5070 delivers approximately 38% higher performance compared to the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB. That is the conclusion of this article — the greater the expectation, the greater the disappointment.

However, the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB isn’t without merit. Considering that the GeForce RTX 5070 is 57% more expensive but only 38% faster, the RX 9060 XT 16GB offers better overall value for money.
