RTX 5090 vs 5080 Laptops: Which GPU Wins?

Preface

In previous articles, I have already shared a gaming performance comparison between the GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5080, with the final conclusion being that the former outperforms the latter by about 60%, showing a significant performance gap.

Compared to the desktop version of the GeForce RTX 5090, the mobile version has much lower specifications, with its memory bus width and number of CUDA cores only half of those of the desktop version. So, how does it actually perform? This is something that many users who prioritize laptops over desktop PCs are very interested in.

This article compares the gaming performance of the mobile versions of the GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5080, for those who are interested.
